A large country garden including an outdoor swimming pool surrounds the house and there are beautiful views across ancient parkland to our secluded lake, a haven for wild life.

Our B and B is an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds and Chiltern Hills and if you are arriving from or going abroad Heathrow Airport is just 45 minutes away by car.

An outside view of the house Oxford is one of the most popular tourist destinations in England, the attractions of the University and other historic buildings are clustered within easy walking distance around the medieval core of this relatively small city. Walking tours, open-top bus tours and even cycling tours can be arranged.

The Oxfordshire Way a 65 mile recreational walk passes through Holton close to our bed & breakfast accommodation and includes two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Cotswolds with their characteristic grey limestone buildings and walls and the Chilterns, with their flint and brick architecture and famous beech woods. Holton is conveniently located between the Beckley to Waterperry part of the route.

Village pubs abound in the area and Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, the Raymond Blanc Michelin starred restaurant, is only 3 miles away at Great Milton. Nearby villages include Waterstock (which has a golf club driving range), Waterperry (Gardens), Cuddesdon, Horspath, Horton-cum-Studley (which has a golf club also), Worminghall and Beckley.
